Hanbok, Deoksugung Palace, Namdaemun Market, & Sinchon

Our good friend Chris had a stop over for a few weeks! And Vanesa was visiting from Mexico--so we were off to explore the city on Oct. 25th. We started with trying on traditional Korean clothing: Hanbok. We could not stop laughing. It was raining outside: a real bummer! Singing in the rain....just singing in the rain...what a wonderful feeling...to be wearing honbok and...singing in the rain! Smile!hehehehe~! Deoksugung Palace: Palace of Virtuous Longevity. It became a palace in 1593 when King Seonjo moved here (after all the other palaces in Seoul were destroyed during the Japanese invasion).
