A Polish Christmas (2008)

Due to our Thailand trip being cancelled, I was rather bummed for a few days! I had to find a way to get into the Christmas spirit...so I hosted a Cookie Exchange party, and Anna and I made Christmas wreaths for our doors with all fresh berries/greenery from the Flower Market. They turned out awesome...and we had a fun time making them. See the picture below! It was hard not spending our usual Christmas at home with family--we missed everyone--but it was really nice to spend it with friends we met only a few months prior. We know that our friendship with them will only continue to grow and prosper--and we hope to always be in touch! The one positive about moving around so much is that we are granted with the opportunity to meet such great friends!~ Merry Christmas to All!

The Spirit is in the air: A great night of snow in Seoul on Dec. 23rd.
Our Christmas Tree: Victoria gave us her fake one since they were moving...usually we just love the smell of a real tree, but this year...we took the easier alternative!

A Polish Christmas: Christmas Eve--Baumann House

Anna made a fabulous Polish dinner that we all really enjoyed and will always remember!

Anna was dog sitting: Hanna above..and they have a dog named Lucy. Both are Boston Terriers.

Off to mass... Bernard, a German parishoner at the church, brought Gluewein and shared it with everyone after mass. Anna and I had been craving a good cup of gluewein. Jason and Anna also lived in Wiesbaden, Germany for a few years before moving to Seoul.

We went back to chill out at their house and spend the night!

Video of Christmas music played near the stream. The area was filled with people--many groups and families walking along the water to enjoy the chilly Christmas night.
